A little bit about me

North Jersey born and Lehigh Valley raised, I started my journalism career working at WFMZ-TV in Allentown, PA in the early 2000s. After about seven years of working for the TV station in the area I grew up in, I wanted to see if I could apply my skills in a brand new place. I moved to North Carolina, where I spent 15 years working for television news stations focusing on digital and social media content. I’ve covered a variety of stories for digital and social audiences including presidential campaign events, days-long severe weather events, civil unrest & protests, the 2016 Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia and tourism in Iceland.

I moved back to Lehigh Valley in 2022 to take on a new challenging role as the Director of digital to build and launch LehighValleyNews.com. After a successful launch and significant growth of the area's only digital-focused local news website, I returned home to North Carolina to start a new chapter outside of journalism with North Carolina's Electric Cooperative as a digital strategist.Off the clock, I am a blue belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, kickboxing coach, retired roller girl and I served in the United States Army. If I'm not training or at a horror movie convention I'm usually at home with my two rescue dogs or on my motorcycle. Oh, and I can name that tune in two notes. Really.
